NCDF Group is seeking a disciplined, organised and detail-oriented People & Finance Intern to support the Group’s combined Human Resources and Accounting functions within its Shared Services structure.
- This internship is designed for a candidate who wants practical exposure to both people operations and finance administration in a growing institutional environment. The successful candidate will support staff documentation, recruitment administration, onboarding records, payroll support, basic accounting records, payment documentation, filing, reporting and internal coordination across the Group.
- The role is suitable for a graduate, early-career professional student with a strong interest in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration and Corporate Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources / People Operations
- Support recruitment administration, interview scheduling and candidate records.
- Assist with staff onboarding documentation and personnel file management.
- Maintain staff attendance, leave, internship and performance tracking records.
- Support the preparation of appointment letters, internship letters and HR templates.
- Assist with staff communication, meeting notes and internal HR coordination.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and applicant information.
Finance / Accounting Administration
- Support basic bookkeeping and financial record organisation.
- Assist with invoices, receipts, payment requests and expense documentation.
- Help maintain payment schedules, petty cash records and financial filing.
- Support bank statement organisation and transaction documentation.
- Assist with spreadsheet updates, reconciliations and management reports.
- Support finance documentation for audits, compliance and management review.
Shared Services Support
- Maintain organised digital and physical records.
- Support internal reporting, document tracking and administrative follow-up.
- Coordinate with team members across departments and portfolio companies.
- Assist with data entry, scheduling, documentation and operational support.
- Perform other duties assigned by management within the People & Finance function.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree, HND study in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Management or a related field.
- Strong interest in both HR and accounting/finance operations.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Google Workspace.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with confidential information.
- Good writing, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines and maintain accurate records.
- Professional attitude, integrity and willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping or accounting principles.
- Familiarity with payroll, HR records or recruitment administration.
- Good spreadsheet skills.
- Ability to prepare simple reports and track tasks.
- Interest in working within a growing investment, development and enterprise ecosystem.
