Job Overview

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assurance Analyst to join our Audit & Assurance team.
  • This role is ideal for early to mid-career professionals passionate about evaluating financial and operational information, ensuring compliance with standards, and providing high-quality insights to clients and stakeholders.
  • The Assurance Analyst will assist in delivering audit and assurance engagements, focusing on accuracy, efficiency, and client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of assurance and audit engagements under the supervision of senior team members.
  • Support the planning and risk assessment process of engagements.
  • Perform testing of internal controls, substantive procedures, and analytical reviews.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret financial data to identify discrepancies and irregularities.
  • Prepare clear, well-documented work papers that support audit findings and conclusions.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and client representatives to gather information and clarify findings.
  • Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with relevant auditing standards and internal methodologies.
  • Stay up to date with changes in accounting and assurance standards.
  • Support the preparation of client deliverables, reports, and presentations.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Progress towards or possession of a professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) is a plus.
  • 2–3 years of experience in assurance, audit, or a related field (internships or full-time).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and audit software tools (e.g., CaseWare, ACL, IDEA or similar) is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving sand organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • High level of discretion, attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
